After a fierce love affair between international photojournalist, Lee (Jennifer Jason Leigh, "The Machinist") and troubled writer, John (Martin Henderson, "The Ring") ends when John disappears, Lee checks into a mental hospital to recuperate. She sparks a friendship with a fellow patient bearing an uncanny resemblance to her missing lover. The pair works to discover the truth behind the disappearance, but Lee's rocky sanity is suddenly threatened when the evidence and clues lead to the last place she would ever expect.
