The rugged coast of our biggest state harbors the most incredible wildlife in America. Nat Geo Wild cameras take an intimate look at Alaskan wildlife from winter to summer. When winter breaks, bears and wolves must make the most of the endless sunshine before darkness again closes in on their world. We are front-and-center as bears wake from hibernation hungry and patrol the coast looking for any nourishment they can find. In the summer, we'll see Alaska with 24 hours of sunlight, and ice well out to sea. On a stretch of beach near the northernmost point of America, up to 25,000 walrus crowd the shore. Getting up close to Alaska's magnificent creatures, including polar bears, salmon and whales, cameras capture the beauty of their homeland.
