A young man about to executed for his Christian beliefs awaits his fate. He shares his prison cell with Peter the Apostle, who tells him the inspiring story of Jesus Christ's Crucifixion, Resurrection, and Ascension to the right hand of God. Later he would be a multiple Emmy-award winner for the TV mini-series The Thorn Birds (1983) and A Year in the Life (1986). Also featured are sci-fi movie regulars Robert Cornthwaite (The Thing from Another World, The War of the Worlds) and Morris Ankrum (Invaders from Mars, Earth vs. the Flying Saucers.)
