Bonnie Shea (Mary Doran) travels west from Chicago to become the new owner of the Sunset Ranch, not realizing that her younger brother and his gangland associates have hidden a large amount of stolen cash in her luggage.
Arriving at her new Arizona home, the city-bred greenhorn soon befriends and charms the tough skinned cowboys who work there-especially Reasonin' Bates (Hoot Gibson).
Ranch life is sweet until the mobsters show up at her door with her brother and start making demands, then threats. Discovering that the gang has taken Bonnie hostage, the outraged Bates and his ranch-hand buddies mount up and get ready for action.
