Pretty young Sally Bates drives all the way from Texas to Los Angeles to find her fortune. She meets and falls for Bill Cutler, who unfortunately is in a relationship with socialite Clara Barry. Unaware that Bill is secretly in love with her, Sally takes up with Clara's playboy brother, Jack. The growing rivalry between the two men threatens to shatter Sally's unfulfilled romantic dreams when violence suddenly erupts.
1932 Olympic gold medal swimmer Buster Crabbe is best known for playing screen adventure heroes such as Flash Gordon, Buck Rogers and Billy the Kid, but his charm and good looks made him a natural for romantic leads as well.
