The "King Of Serials," Spencer Gordon Bennet, directed scores of cliffhangers including Superman (1948), The Adventures of Sir Galahad (1949), Batman And Robin (1949) and Captain Video (1951). Most notable among his many B-westerns is The Adventures Of Red Ryder (1940) starring Don "Red" Barry.
