Their premier anthology series, "Four Star Playhouse" would set a high standard within the newly developing television industry and would produce offshoots such as "The Star And The Story." This collection also includes a very rare episode of the Chester Erskine produced series "TV Reader's Digest." All feature top actors, fine writing and capable direction.

The Lie (The Star And The Story - 1955): A woman tries to make amends to the man she sent to prison with false accusations. Starring Dan Duryea, Beverly Garland; Directed by Alvin Ganzer.
