Ten-year-old Morten spends his days building a toy ship and trying to avoid the ire of his reluctant guardian -- a mean ex-ballerina named Anna -- while his father is at sea. After a chance meeting with the inept magician Senor Cucaracha, Morten is magically shrunk down to the size of an insect and trapped aboard the deck of his own toy ship as the room around him floods!
