California (MOD) (DVD Movie)

The Mexican territory of California struggles under the iron fist of martial law imposed by barbaric General Miguel Torena. After leading an army of thugs and criminals on a bloody rampage through Los Angeles, he is pressing northward to the capital of Monterey. The only hope for the terrified landowners is a growing insurgency led by unlikely hero, Don Michael O'Casey. His traitorous uncle, Don Francisco, plans to gain a governorship by betraying the settlers and allying himself with General Torena. A scandalous love affair threatens to inflame the delicate military and political situation into an inferno of violence.

Jock Mahoney got his Hollywood start as a stunt double for Errol Flynn, John Wayne, Gregory Peck, and many others. He starred as the fabled Ape Man in Tarzan the Magnificent (1960), but is probably best known for his work in two popular TV series - "Range Rider" (1951) and "Yancy Derringer" (1958). Beautiful Faith Domergue made her mark in sci-fi history when she was assaulted by a hideous mutant in the 1955 classic, This Island Earth.
