Boston Blackie - Volume 5 (MOD) (DVD MOVIE)

$18.92
The character of Boston Blackie, legendary safecracker-turned-sleuth, first appeared in popular short stories penned by author Jack Boyle as early as 1914. He was then portrayed in several silent movies of the era, followed by a Columbia Boston Blackie film series and two separate radio series during the 1940s. Blackie eventually made his television debut in this 1950s TV series starring Kent Taylor, with Lois Collier as his girlfriend Mary Wesley and Frank Orth as the eternally befuddled Inspector Faraday. Despite being taken out of reruns decades ago, Boston Blackie remains fondly remembered by many to this day.

DEATH TRAP: A psychotic killer is eliminating anyone who can identify him - and Blackie is next on his list.

THE ALIBI: A prospective client asks Blackie and Mary for help, but then uses the meeting as an alibi after his mistress is murdered.

KEYS TO THE KILLER: All clues point to the killer of a recently murdered piano player being his own brother!

A DATE WITH ROMERO: The host of a "lonely hearts" radio show is secretly conveying messages to criminals following his orders.
