Thieves, led by a man impersonating Officer Terry Mulvaney, rob a jewel company and make off with a fortune in gems. Discovering that he is a wanted fugitive, Terry flees. The train he boards derails killing dozens and leaving Terry alive, but with a horribly disfigured face. Finding opportunity in tragedy, the unrecognizable Mulvaney returns home to bring justice to the crooks who ruined his life.
Prolific Charles Lamont is best remembered for directing numerous Abbott and Costello comedies as well as various entries in the Ma and Pa Kettle series.
