A psychiatric patient, Laura Sommers, wakes up to discover that NYC has been invaded by aliens. She is befriended by a mentally imbalanced drifter, Neil, and together they take refuge in a warehouse with other survivors as Alien Zombies hunt the wreckage for more humans to enslave. Soon Laura and Neil realize that it is only emotionally disturbed survivors who have been immune to the aliens mind control tactics. Can these rag tag mental patients organize themselves and save their city before it is too late?
