Arnost Benda has recently been hired by Baron Archibald Prasil as a new secretary. Unbeknownst to the Baron, Arnost has secretly married his daughter, Karlicka. Together they want to break the news as gently as possible to avoid his anger. But in his attempt to come clean Arnost is mistaken not only as the Barons illegitimate child but also the Baronesses. Chaos and misunderstanding run amok trying to figure out who is who which is only added by the arrival of Arnost's real parents.
