Red Blood of Courage (MOD) (DVD Movie)

Sharpshooting Mountie Jim Sullivan (Kermit Maynard) goes undercover as a fugitive from justice to capture outlaw Pete Drago and his henchman, Slager. Along the trail, Jim rescues beautiful Elizabeth Henry (Ann Sheridan) from Drago's thug and learns that the cunning bandit is holding her uncle for ransom. Not knowing where to turn or who to trust, Elizabeth finds comfort in Jim's arms as he pledges to save her beloved uncle.

Red Blood of Courage co-stars Kermit Maynard with Ann Sheridan, whose brilliant acting career was launched at age 18 when she won a beauty contest and was rewarded with bit parts in small films. With talent that matched her good looks, Ann was soon starring in Hollywood's biggest pictures, including Angels With Dirty Faces (1938), They Drive By Night (1940), The Man Who Came To Dinner (1941), King's Row (1941), The Treasure Of The Sierra Madre (1948) and I Was A Male War Bride (1949). Ann retired from films in the late 1950s but continued acting on TV in the early '60s in the soap opera "Another World" and the western series "Pistols 'n' Petticoats."
