The long-running reality series kicks off like no other season has before, as Mother Nature's wrath forces the castaways, all die-hard fans split among generational lines, to evacuate as a cyclone makes landfall. The Millennials, born between 1984 and 1997, revel in the series' history-making moment, while Generation Xers, those born between 1963 and 1982, demonstrate a stark contrast, and are more concerned about safety and their well being. The thirty-third Survivor season to divide tribes by ages, the 20 all-new contestants include a homeless shelter manager, a missionary recruiter, and the series' first-ever high school student. The 33rd season brings twists and turns, including hidden immunity idols 'hidden' in plain sight; the introduction of the Reward Steal, an advantage allowing its owner to steal a reward from another after any Reward Challenge; and the Legacy Advantage, which can only be used on Day 35 and lets the holder pass the power to someone else if they are voted out, meaning the eliminated castaway can still have a direct impact on the game.
