Vern Walsh (Robert Young, TV's "Father Knows Best") is a big city publisher distraught by the news that his ex-wife, Jackie (Barbara Hale, TV's "Perry Mason"), is about to get remarried. However, Jackie faints as she walks down the aisle, leading to the discovery that she is pregnant with Vern's child.
