Here Comes Trouble revived characters from a set of popular early 40's military comedies- Tanks a Million (1941), About Face (1942), Fall In (1943) and Yanks Ahoy (1943). Joe Sawyer plays Sgt. William Ames in these slapstick Army send-ups. His career spans 200 films over three decades, including parts in The Petrified Forest (1936), The Grapes of Wrath (1940), Sargent York (1941), It Came from Outer Space (1953) and the fifties TV series "Rin Tin Tin."
This is one of the last of director Fred Guiol's many films, which include a handful of Laurel and Hardy silents and several Wheeler & Woolsey features. His is also noted for writing screenplays for the films Gunga Din (1939) and Giant (1956).
